Walt Disney Imagineering Shares How They Are Lowering Concrete Carbon Emissions

In honor of Earth Month, Walt Disney Imagineering shared how the concrete used for walkways in the parks is being innovated to have a lower carbon footprint. Lowering Concrete Carbon Emissions waltdisneyimagineering/Instagram Taking place at the Bakery Tour in Disney California Adventure, Caitlin (Manager for Sustainability and Design Strategy) likens the creation of concrete to the process of baking bread. By changing the types and amounts of “ingredients” that are added, less carbon emissions can be “baked” into the concrete.
