Orange County Sheriff’s Office used drones to monitor the 2026 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend, the first time they’ve provided drone security for runDisney races. Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend Drone Security Four drone pilots worked the event with authorization from the Federal Aviation Administration. Drones are prohibited on Walt Disney World property.
