Another Permit Filed for Muppets Transformation of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at Walt Disney World

A new Notice of Commencement has been filed for the upcoming Muppets retheme of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Notice of Commencement to Install Set Elements The new permit, filed in Orange County today (January 7, 2026), contracts Walt Disney Imagineering vendor Jon Richards Company to “install set elements” at the Hollywood Studios address: This comes only a few weeks after another permit was filed for the same reason, but with Imagineering contractor Mecca Productions (who is also working on the Indiana Jones retheme of DINOSAUR at Disney’s Animal Kingdom).
