Universal Orlando Resort Replaces Self-Service Ticket Kiosks with QR Codes

Following the removal of self-serve machines, Universal appears to be replacing the service with signage promoting mobile ticketing. QR Codes Replace Self-Serve Ticketing at Universal As of last month, park visitors at Universal Orlando Resort can no longer pick up their Universal Orlando Resort theme park tickets at self-service kiosks. The machines were removed from the entry areas of Universal Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios, where new painting is also taking place. As of our latest visit, however, Universal has added signage to the kiosks’ former location at Islands of Adventure, offering guests an alternative via their mobile devices....
