Universal Epic Universe Removes Ground Lighting After Similar Maintenance Issues to EPCOT’s World Ce

The light-up pavement in Celestial Park at Epic Universe has been capped less than a year after the park opened. Epic Universe Ground Lighting Goes Dark On our last visit, we noticed that the lights embedded in the pavement around Astronomica and the Constellation Carousel were not only not illuminated, but also completely covered with metal caps. Tom remarked in his recent Epic Universe vlog that it appears that Universal “has just given up” on attempting to fix the ground lighting effects, comparing it to EPCOT’s ongoing struggles with the same problem.
