Disney Was Exploring Hotels Inside Magic Kingdom as Recently as 2024, Documents Show

Disney considered building one or two new hotels in the Magic Kingdom area, apparently attached to the theme park. Magic Kingdom Hotels Gabrielle Russon with Florida Politics shared the discovery, which comes from a February 2024 court deposition, when Disney was embroiled in a legal battle with the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District. Florida Politics requested records in October 2024 but only recently received them.
