Disney Has Shoved Best Former CEO to the Side to Honor Bob Iger

Disney once again skipped over Michael Eisner for the Disney Legend award, while Bob Iger will be honored later this year. The 2026 honorees are mostly celebrities, alongside Disney artists and Imagineers. Many are questioning why Iger received the title immediately upon leaving, while Eisner, credited with saving the company during its financial collapse and leading the animation renaissance, has not yet been awarded it.
