Beloved Actress Announces She’s Playing Tangled’s Iconic Villain

Kathryn Hahn will portray Mother Gothel in Disney's live-action Tangled remake. She announced the news on Instagram while wearing a t-shirt featuring her character from the original 2010 film, which was voiced by Donna Murphy. Hahn’s casting comes after Scarlett Johansson withdrew to work on Batman II and The Exorcist reboot. She stars alongside Teagan Croft as Rapunzel and Milo Manheim as Flynn Rider.
