Disney Fixes Gertie’s Tail (Again) at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Hopefully, the tale of Gertie’s tail can end on a good note, as the previously-missing appendage has been fixed (again). Gertie’s Tail Gets Band-Aid After we initially reported there was a a crack in Gertie the Dinosaur’s tail at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the broken tail fell off. Disney attempted to hide the missing piece with a couple of random boxes, but when that didn’t work they covered the tail in scrim and lowered the water levels to properly repair the tail. Although the water level is still low, the tail has been reattached and looks much more permanent this time around....
